
Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Sales Engineer with Emerson’s Branson Ultrasonics business. This role will be based out of St. Louis, MO (or surrounding area) and will service a sales territory in the MO/IL/KS/NE/IA area. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Engineer is a key member of Branson’s Sales organization. This is a remote-based position.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory (MO/IL/KS/NE/IA) by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.
Serve as the technical expert during sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their business needs.
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to address technical questions and deliver customer-centric solutions.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to promote company products.
Stay current with industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.

For This Role, You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
5+ years of proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in the targeted industry.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex products and solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
