The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) plays a vital role in providing specialized support and oversight for individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism, dementia, and other cognitive impairments. The QIDP works closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote independence, safety, and well-being in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. About the Role

Kaskaskia Workshop, Inc. (KWI) is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and organized professional to join our team as a QIDP / Case Manager. In this vital role, you’ll coordinate care, advocate for individual needs, and lead person-centered planning for adults with developmental disabilities in our day services program. Responsibilities

Develop and oversee Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) Coordinate care and services with interdisciplinary teams Support individuals in identifying and achieving personal goals Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Maintain accurate documentation and records Collaborate with families, guardians, and external providers Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Special Education, Recreation, or another Human Services field OR Licensed/Certified medical professional (examples include RN, OT/OTA, PT/PTA, Speech-Language Pathologist, Audiologist, Dietitian, or Psychologist) Experience:

At least one (1) year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or a related field preferred.
