Structural/Bridge Designer Location
Raleigh, NC office Responsibilities
Perform basic analysis of project elements Perform load development and designing calculations of project elements and checking work Prepare organized structural calculations Design and draft structural elements and details Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner Perform tasks on schedule and within budget as assigned Work independently under the guidance of a Project Manager Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis or related discipline EI or ability to obtain 0 to 2+ years of structural design experience Excellent communication and client relation skills. Progressive experience with developing plans and specifications utilizing MicroStation Strong organization and leadership skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules. Ability to perform complex analysis and design Ability to assemble a complete design package for assigned elements or projects Ability to work effectively in a team environment Experience working with NCDOT is a benefit.
