CONSULTANT, SALES, SERVICE, AND OPERATIONS – Hampton, VA
Playfly Sports is looking for a Consultant, Sales, Service, and Operations to join our team in Hampton, Va.
What You’ll Accomplish
Perform outbound calls and service inbound calls for the Athletics Department for Men's & Women's sports
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and customer service
Grow sales significantly each week by attracting additional business leads; especially business-to-business opportunities
Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within Ticketing/CRM database
Work home games, performing various ticket sales and service duties as assigned and agreed upon with FRMC Leadership
Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell season tickets, partial plans and group ticket plans
Execute 50 outbound sales activities daily
Assist in hiring and onboarding process
Assist leadership team with leading sales contests and trainings
Lead by example in root activity and revenue
Participate in FRMC leadership meetings
Execute ticket order processing, printing fulfillment, distribution and reporting
Create seating map
Maintain online ticketing management
Serve as point of contact for student-workers on game days
Other job-related duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
1 year of proven sales experience in ticket sales preferred
Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required
Desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics
Previous customer service or retail sales experience; display a genuine desire to help people
Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
Must be able to communicate equally well with executives, staff, and fans at all levels
Ability to work well with others and comfortable taking initiative
Ability to encourage collaboration, flexibility, equity and inclusion that enables colleagues to contribute to their full potential, feel valued, and supported
Professional approach that results in a level of trust and respect with internal stakeholders
Detail oriented
Proven relationship building and interpersonal skills
Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability
Travel, Lifting, Physical Requirements
Available to work athletic events including home games and special events in evenings and on weekends as needed
