Role Summary: To analyze and monitor insurance coverage placement in accordance with CPC and Investor guidelines for CPC’s commercial real estate loan portfolio. To assist borrowers in acquiring appropriate coverage based on loan-level specific exposures that support CPC’s mission of transforming underserved neighborhoods into thriving and vibrant communities.
What You’ll Do:
Communicate regularly with borrowers and insurance agents to obtain evidence of required insurance coverage within established timeframes
Perform compliance reviews of insurance certificates and policies and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure insurance requirements are met
Maintain accurate, up-to-date insurance data in the servicing systems for all assigned loans
Assist in gathering insurance information needed for lender and internal audits
Work with senior team members on insurance waiver and exception request submissions for non-compliant insurance issues
Take on challenges, acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
Perform other administrative duties and tasks, as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
BA/BS required
1+ years’ experience in the property and casualty insurance industry preferred. (e.g. CRE Portfolio Administrator, CSR, Account Manager, Underwriter Assistant, Processor, etc.,)
Experience in loan documentation and agency guidelines preferred
Familiarity using financial institution software, e.g., McCracken Strategy
Strong interpersonal skills, accuracy with numbers, ability to multi-task and attention to detail
Exhibit self-motivation and ability to multi-task whether working independently or on a team

This is a hybrid role where you will work from the Manhattan office two – three days a week. The salary range is $60,000 – $75,000, dependent on experience.
