This position is contract, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is only available in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities The Content Creator Apprentice will help create dynamic social-first and platform-right content for social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. You will work with others to ideate platform specific ideas for a variety of brands then help bring them to life by ideating, hands-on content capture and editing. You’ll have a strong understanding of trends, formats, and audience behavior, and the ability to translate brand strategy into engaging, authentic content that performs well across social platforms.
Ideate and oversee social video content from concept through to final delivery
Write, direct, edit and perform in social-first videos for brands
Combine brands’ communication priorities with social media best practices in entertaining ways
Utilize editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut) to create videos
Develop concepts designed to connect with culture, with a focus on earning it
Shape and develop cohesive narratives, maximizing quality of output
Scour the internet for all that is new and trending, providing your POV
Contribute to our agency Social Media Pages
Ideate on current trends in emerging platforms (ie. TikTok, Reels, Triller, etc.)
Be concept and creative-minded, providing a unique perspective and support for projects
Contribute to creative strategy sessions by providing ideas and insights to build from
Collaborate effectively with team members across the agency
Requirements
0-2 years of experience
Fluency in social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat) and internet in content & trends
Experience in editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut)
Strong comedic instincts and ability to perform on-camera is a plus
Experience managing multiple creative projects at once
Comfortable working cross-discipline
Comfortable with complex assignments and working with a diverse team
Able to work independently with guidance and support when needed
Entrepreneurial spirit and a style that inspires
Agile, passionate and dedicated to the work
Major Bonus If You
Have prior experience creating social video content for brands
Create memes
Have created consistent content or “viral” work
