The Job
Territory Manager, MEP – In the Field – Dallas/Fort Worth, TX You’ll be part of our sales team as a remote employee based in the DFW area. You will manage a territory of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) accounts or a combination of these accounts. You will be responsible for managing daily activities including in‑person account visits and analyzing metrics to strategically map out your routing schedule. In the field, you’ll focus on driving top‑line sales through strategic initiative planning and selling opportunities with Key Decision Makers, End User Engagement (both selling and lead generation), and managing accountability with KPIs and goals to ensure servicing standards while leveraging territory relationships.
Execute strategic plans by effectively utilizing Go‑to‑Market strategy, product service, marketing programs, and targeted funds.
Regularly call on all Key Customers in the assigned area with daily travel to distributors, customers, events, etc.
Achieve sales targets for Power Tools, Hand Tools, Accessories, and support key regional chains.
Establish key relationships with Internal Teams, Distribution, and key end users.
Analyze Power BI and Salesforce data to develop strategic growth plans and improve financial performance.
Be goal‑oriented and driven to deliver results that grow and drive strong quarterly and annual sales within a region or market.
Apply strong product and market knowledge to drive sales and gain share with retail partners.
Remain flexible to change and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
Communicate effectively with customers and SBD team personnel (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
Demonstrate promotional and event success using creativity and problem solving.
Leverage field resources, conduct distributor and end‑user product training, and identify end‑user conversions.
Gain knowledge on channel‑specific pricing structures and programming.
Communicate opportunities, issues, and trends to management and marketing.
Effectively manage T&E and MAP Budget and field schedule.
The Person

Bachelor’s Degree required (Business Management or Engineering preferred); Master’s Degree preferred. Relevant construction field experience could substitute for higher education.
3–5 years of sales experience in product, commercial, or industrial sales, or similar.
Willingness to travel and maintain active engagement within territory.
Experience working on construction or end‑client job sites.
Ability to build relationships and work effectively with all levels of an organization to drive strategy, influence owners, and generate revenue.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR screening.
Ability to pass all drug and criminal background checks.
Understanding of IT business systems (BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and smartphone proficiency.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform some physical labor; be on your feet for several hours a day.
Ability to travel frequently and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Up to 50% local travel; up to 30% overnight travel.
