
Lifecycle Marketing Manager

As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will develop and manage communication strategies for different client lifecycle stages, building long-term relationships with clients. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive communication journeys for both prospect and existing clients using various channels. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to build client segments, develop pre-screen and trigger strategies, expand communication efforts to non-Rocket clients through strategic third-party contact lists and to ensure cohesive and compelling messaging.
This role is based in Detroit, Michigan, with a hybrid work schedule.
About the role
Design and implement promotional communication journeys via email, SMS, push notifications and direct mail that target both prospect and existing clients
Ensure all communication aligns with the company's brand values and marketing goals
Work to build and refine client segments for targeted promotional communication
Utilize audience insights to tailor communication strategies for maximum engagement and conversion
Partner closely with the product and sales teams to build in process nurturing journeys
Balance increase in engagement while keeping opt-outs stable
Develop and execute pre-screening and trigger strategies
Identify and leverage strategic third-party contact lists to expand promotional communication efforts to non-Rocket clients
Develop strategies to reach new audiences and drive brand awareness
Develop testing roadmaps for optimization, scaling results to applicable journeys
Monitor and adjust strategies to improve effectiveness and client response rates
Work closely with the creative team to develop cohesive and compelling messaging for all promotional communications
Ensure that visual and written content are aligned and effectively communicate the brand's message
Analyze communication performance metrics to inform strategy adjustments and improvements
Use data insights to continuously optimize communication campaigns for better results
About you Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field
5 years of experience in marketing, focusing on customer relationship management (CRM)
Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or comparable martech CRM tools
Experience using Project Management tools
Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data to drive marketing strategies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Strong understanding of multi-channel communication strategies
Proficiency in email marketing, SMS, push notifications and direct mail
Experience with audience segmentation and data analysis
Strategic mindset with a customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
Deep familiarity with best practices for key performance indicators (KPIs), growth levers
Deep understanding of CAN-SPAM, SMS compliance / TCPA laws, and email security sending protocols
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with FinTech or Financial Service Industry products
