As a Senior Associate Brand Manager, you will use your strong business acumen and agile marketing strategies and tactics to drive profitability, growth, and excitement for some of the fastest growing energy brands in our portfolio.
In this role, the Senior Associate Brand Manager will own discrete brand workstreams and initiatives, operating with increasing independence while partnering closely with cross-functional teams and brand leads. This position plays a critical role in translating brand strategy into day-to-day execution, ensuring plans are delivered with rigor, consistency, and attention to detail. The role provides meaningful exposure to financial management, innovation execution, and cross-functional decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute key winning brand strategies with your cross-functional teammates, including—but not limited to—strategic brand planning, product development, packaging/quality initiatives, pricing analysis, distribution planning, advertising, and retail/shopper marketing
Collaborate with Marketing Analytics and Consumer Insights to optimize the brand's monthly reporting structure, track innovation launches, and lead key research projects and assessments of market trends, turning insights into growth plans
Lead strategy and execution of experiential events, top industry trade shows, and key external partnerships in collaboration with Marketing Operations and Sales Strategy
Be the face of the Brand and key contact with cross functional leaders; Ensure all strategic brand documents, including annual plans, P&L statements, and brand standards, are communicated to key stakeholders and available for reference on shared corporate platforms
Partner with Finance to facilitate timely financials, P&L analysis, specialized reports, financial transparency, and budgetary requests and revisions; Manage Brand’s P&L statements
Own execution of assigned brand initiatives or workstreams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with brand strategy
Support development and execution of annual brand plans, including innovation launches, marketing programs, and retail execution
Prepare clear, concise materials and recommendations for cross-functional partners and leadership to support decision-making
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
3+ years of relevant experience working in marketing or brand management
2+ years of relevant experience analyzing financial processes and activities, project management, and preparing and giving presentations to internal and external key contacts/senior management
Knowledge of and ability to apply marketing concepts (e.g., brand positioning, brand architecture, SWOT Analysis, competitive assessment, marketing objectives and strategies, consumer segmentation) used in the development of marketing plans
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliverables independently and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated excellent time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
Demonstrated ability to turn consumer insights into measurable marketing initiatives
Enthusiastic, goal-driven attitude with the ability to follow up and follow through proactively
Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships and work well with all levels of employees, including senior management
Prior exposure to Creative and Digital Advertising processes and executions
Proficiency with MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
Travel: Up to 20%
Preferred Qualifications
MBA degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
2+ plus years experience working with age-restricted products, value chains, and/or industries affected by regulatory restrictions
