to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services that keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in vendor management, and a proven ability to deliver cost-effective procurement solutions without compromising on quality or timelines. Key Responsibilities
Oversee purchasing activities for assigned commodities or categories. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure favorable agreements. Prepare and issue purchase orders; track and manage order status to ensure on-time delivery. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance metrics. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and align procurement strategies. Address and resolve supplier-related issues promptly and effectively. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement. Background in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment procurement is a plus. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Willingness to travel as needed.
