WRGB/WCWN is looking for a creative full-time News Photographer! We are seeking someone who can see beyond the lens and bring back compelling stories. You will cover day to day general, in-depth features and investigative assignments. We are shooting full HD on media cards and editing on desktops and laptops. You should have strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems, possess excellent people skills, a strong work ethic, and a great attitude. A passion for storytelling is absolutely essential in this position. Responsibilities
Cover day-to-day general assignments, in-depth features and investigative assignments. Shoot in HD on media cards and edit on desktops and laptops. Demonstrate strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems and maintain excellent people skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. Qualifications
At least 2 years of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment Team-player who can produce good stories under tight deadlines Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and be able to operate ENG news vehicles Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots and natural sound packages Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis EEO and Inclusivity

The hourly compensation range for this role is $17.23 to $19.23. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full-time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
