Our client, an HVAC/R manufacturer’s representative based in Wisconsin is creating a new role for a

Vertical Market Sales Specialist

to lead their Healthcare focused technical HVAC sales practice in

Waukesha, WI . This business provides HVAC sales to a variety of commercial clients and uses a strong engineering team to consultatively sell a variety of HVAC systems and equipment. Based on recent success in this vertical, the focus is now on Healthcare and requires a dedicated sales leader in this space. The role is based onsite in Waukesha, WI, pays in the $150K - $200K range with commissions/bonus, includes normal M-F hours, NO on-call hours, limited travel, and delivers ongoing training and certification programs. The role includes a strong benefit program. The key to this role is strong connection to the Healthcare community in a technical capacity related to HVAC and related systems. This individual will engage directly with owners to develop relationships, understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and win business in direct collaboration with internal Sales and Engineering Teams. This position is directly responsible for maintaining critical market understanding, awareness, and overall growth with and through the Organization. The incumbent will: Responsibilities

Clearly understand the needs of the healthcare market and applications of HVAC products. Build sound relationships at all levels of targeted organizations based on trust, credibility, and sound advisory. Develop opportunities to deliver solutions to the owner based on genuine understanding of their needs. Always advocate for the owner and what is important to them throughout the value chain (system, products, budget, maintenance, total cost of ownership, energy). Effectively collaborate with designated Sales Engineers to fully develop opportunities through award, execution, and aftermarket. Openly and efficiently sharing project information internally to enhance influence opportunity. Become the primary source for HVAC information to the market. Coordinate resources to deliver the applicable solution to the client. Develop new customers and increase sales to existing customer base. Stay current on any training required by our suppliers. Qualifications

BS degree in technical/engineering arena – BSME preferred 10+ years experience in the HVAC realm 10+ years experience connected to Healthcare 5+ years in a sales driven role in the HVAC realm Experience and understanding of VFD’s, Humidifiers, Boilers, Chillers, VRF, MAU’s, DOAS, RTU’s & Custom AHU’s. Experience explaining complex HVAC systems simply Experience in Relationship-based selling Experience in Long sales-cycle management Comfort in dealing with engineers, clinicians, and executives Excellent verbal and written communications skills
