Position Overview Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. (DSA) is a world leader in Memory, Storage, System LSI, LED, and LCD technologies. We are seeking a Sales Account Manager for Memory in San Jose, California, responsible for managing NAND sales activities for a key data‑center account.

Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Jose headquarters with 10% domestic and international travel.

Reports to: Senior Director, Memory Sales

Responsibilities

Collaborate with key decision makers at customer to secure design wins and qualification slots on new server or consumer programs.

Capable of working cross‑functionally managing NAND or DRAM‑based products as required.

Negotiate quarterly business awards including pricing and supply support.

Create and align sales forecast and deliver monthly revenue goals.

Conduct face‑to‑face customer management meetings to provide support, address issues, communicate updates, and build strong relationships.

Support sales opportunities by providing product information, roadmap updates, product samples, and price quotations.

Maintain awareness of and communicate internally to US and Korea (HQ) sales and marketing teams regarding major market trends, customer strategies, and competitive activity.

International business travel to Korea/Asia to support customer meetings as needed.

Communicate and collaborate with HQ sales and marketing teams to resolve business issues, plan account strategies, and achieve revenue goals.

Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

Bachelor's in Engineering, Business or comparable degree with 10+ years of experience *or* Master’s in Engineering, Business, or comparable engineering degree with 5+ years of industry experience (preferred).

3+ years sales experience in commodity/memory/semiconductor industry (highly preferred).

Sales experience with NAND or DRAM based products.

Travel to Korea for customer business reviews (2–3x per year).

MS Office proficiency.

Key account management/coordination experience.

Familiarity with memory market and technology trends of NAND/SSD.

Familiarity with datacenter storage solutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role's function and location, as well as the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range: $152,000—$236,000 USD
