This role is crucial in advancing healthcare solutions by strategically managing government accounts. You will develop tailored partnerships that enhance efficiencies and sustainable growth. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure effective positioning of laboratory diagnostic products and services. Additionally, you’ll serve as a primary contact for key government clients, driving successful outcomes and fostering long-term relationships.
Accountabilities
Develop and implement tailored commercial strategy for Government partnerships in the territory, identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.
Meet and exceed sales goals specific to geographic territory.
Serve as single point of contact for all government customer needs.
Demonstrate product expertise across all diagnostic product lines and effectively position solutions against competitors.
Collaborate cross-functionally with all internal teammates and stakeholders.
Develop and grow an opportunity funnel of both competitive/prospective customers and current customers.
Lead business reviews and update account plans based on changing market conditions.
Deliver customer business reviews to align on the current landscape and identify growth opportunities.
Grow capital equipment and diagnostic reagent business across all product lines.
Accurately maintain and update internal sales and data analytics tools.
Travel a minimum of 70% throughout the geographic territory.
Requirements
Track record of success selling medical devices in medical technology industry.
Experience developing account-level deal strategies and organizing execution plans.
Strong relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to support accounts.
Ability to collaborate in a matrixed organization and leverage resources effectively.
Demonstrated knowledge of product lines, markets, and competitors.
7+ years of experience in clinical diagnostic sales, government or corporate accounts.
Strong presentation skills.
