Overview

Participation in Atlas Copco's Sales Development Program (IMPACT Program) is an opportunity for the right candidate to start a rewarding sales career working for a world-class leader in industrial technologies. You will build your professional sales skills and learn the tools needed to excel in your career! You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and work closely with the outside & inside sales team as well as the operations team to ensure exposure to many facets of Atlas Copco's business and structure. Upon completion of your mission in the role, you will be prepared to apply for an Outside Sales position that suits your competence as well as your training and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

Build skills suited for sales, marketing, applications, and account management by performing activities such as:

Lead Qualification Sales Pipeline Management Quote Creation Order Tracking and customer follow-up Marketing Campaigns & Market Study / Analysis

Work with Regional Sales Managers to learn sales strategies and practices. Shadow Service Technicians to gain intimate knowledge of the equipment and its applications. Shadow Sales Managers and enginneers to learn compressed air applications and system dynamics. Participate in meetings with other Sales Trainees and previous program grads that allow for team building and mentorship. Travel to Rock Hill, SC for training. You will receive training on our CRM, Quoting, Application, Marketing and Travel software. Training will also be provided on contract law, basic finance as well as territory management.

Qualifications

Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 The ideal candidate will be a new or recent college graduate with a BS in Engineering, Industrial Distribution or Business/Marketing. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable hands-on technical skill and abilities. Must be self-disciplined and able to work independently, yet willing to ask for help when needed. Must possess strong communication skills including phone, email, meetings, classroom, etc.
