B2B Sales Account Executive

to generate new revenue and expand our managed IT services portfolio. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Houston, TX, with a

competitive base salary and uncapped commission . The ideal candidate is tenacious, competitive, and confident on the phone, with a strong aptitude for outbound prospecting and consultative B2B selling. You will own pipeline development, prospect qualification, and deal progression, converting opportunities into long-term managed services clients. High activity, resilience, and the ability to communicate value are essential; prior MSP or technology sales experience is a plus. About Star Managed Services Backed by over 30 years in the Houston market, Star Managed Services delivers managed IT and cybersecurity solutions to a large, established client base. They focus on practical technology solutions that support day-to-day business operations. Key Responsibilities

Drive new business growth through outbound sales and lead generation initiatives. Execute high-volume cold calling, email, and social outreach to build pipeline. Qualify, nurture, and close prospects across the full B2B sales cycle. Identify client needs and position managed IT and technology solutions accordingly. Partner with marketing and sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates. Lead discovery calls, presentations, and demos to advance opportunities. Track sales activity and performance metrics to optimize outreach strategies. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction. Continuously refine sales processes to increase efficiency and scalability. Represent Star Managed Services at industry events and client meetings. Stay current on technology trends, competitors, and MSP offerings to support consultative selling. Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in cold calling, appointment setting, or lead generation (B2B preferred). Strong communication and persuasion skills with a confident phone presence. Proven ability to meet or exceed activity-based KPIs (calls, emails, meetings set). Resilient attitude and comfort with rejection in a fast-paced sales environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated with a growth mindset and desire to advance within a sales organization.
