A leading technical services organization is seeking a high-performing
Account Executive
who thrives on winning new business, expanding client relationships, and owning the full sales cycle. This role is ideal for someone who values accountability, autonomy, and a direct connection between performance and earnings through a competitive, incentive-based compensation structure. As an Account Executive, you will act as the primary commercial representative within your assigned territory. You will be responsible for prospecting, consultative selling, closing new opportunities, and growing existing accounts, while collaborating closely with internal technical and operational teams to deliver profitable, high-quality solutions. What You’ll Do
Own the full prospect-to-close sales cycle within an assigned territory Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level buyers and key stakeholders Develop and present quotes and proposals in coordination with internal teams Lead effective sales-to-delivery handoffs and support ongoing client satisfaction and retention Maintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and account documentation using CRM tools Execute territory growth strategies, including cross-selling and account development initiatives Maintain a consistent presence at laboratories, client locations, and field sites to align solutions with customer needs What You Bring
Demonstrated success in sales, account management, or business development roles Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and consultative selling capabilities Professional executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills High accountability, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities A collaborative mindset and comfort working with technical subject matter experts to close complex opportunities Experience & Background
High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience Minimum 2 years of successful sales experience in energy, environmental, or technical services preferred Existing industry relationships strongly preferred Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, and sales enablement tools Field-based role with frequent in-territory travel by car Occasional overnight travel for meetings, client engagements, and industry events Approximately 30–50% travel depending on territory requirements Why This Role
