MakeGood is a Cleveland-based SaaS platform that automates accounts receivable (A/R) — invoicing, payments, collections, and cash flow — for small to mid-sized businesses, startups, and accounting pros. It integrates with QuickBooks Online, offers custom automation, done-for-you services, and helps eliminate late payments. We're growing and need a local hunter to drive adoption in Northeast Ohio. Role Overview

Drive new business sales of MakeGood's A/R automation platform and payment processing solutions. Focus on prospecting, demos, and closing deals with SMBs, contractors, manufacturers, staffing firms, and accountants in Cleveland and surrounding areas (Akron, Canton, etc.). 60–70% field time (visits, networking, events). Key Responsibilities

Prospect via outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and local networking (Chamber events, BNI, industry groups). Qualify leads, demo the platform, present ROI (faster payments, time savings). Hit monthly/quarterly quotas for new customers and ACV. Build pipeline in CRM; attend local events/trade shows. Provide market feedback to team. Requirements

2+ years B2B outside sales experience (SaaS, fintech, payments, accounting software preferred). Track record of hitting/exceeding quota. Knowledge of SMB cash flow/A/R challenges and QuickBooks a plus. Strong consultative selling, demo, and relationship skills. Self-starter comfortable in field/remote setup. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Preferred

Local Northeast Ohio network. Experience with payment processing or QuickBooks ecosystem. Why MakeGood?
