The purpose of this class is to sell Beach Parking Sticker and deliver bulk vendor orders to stores. Duties and Responsibilities
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary. Greets guests on the beach on a daily basis. Sells Beach Parking Stickers; accepts cash, checks or credit card payments for purchase of stickers. Provides general information about the Beach Parking Sticker Program. Collects zip code information from customers on the beach. Completes daily vehicle maintenance and weekly inspections. Performs related work as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
No High School/GED required. Requires one year of experience working with cash handling. Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Physical demands refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement. Unavoidable hazards refer to the job conditions that may lead to injury or health hazards even though precautions have been taken. The work is typically performed while sitting, standing, bending, crouching, or stooping. The employee occasionally lifts light and heavy objects, climbs and operates tools or equipment. The work is typically performed outdoors, occasionally in cold or inclement weather. The employee is exposed to noise, dust, dirt, grease, machinery and chemicals.
