Job Summary As a Personal Lines Producer, you’ll be the trusted advisor for clients seeking home, auto, and umbrella insurance. You’ll manage a sales pipeline, prospect through provided leads and referrals, and deliver tailored risk management solutions that meet client needs. Consistently meeting sales goals while strengthening the agency’s reputation for excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop new business through leads, networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and present customized insurance solutions.
Prepare proposals and quotes, clearly explaining policy terms and coverage.
Act as a long‑term advisor, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Review renewals for cross‑sell opportunities and upsell additional coverage.
Maintain accurate records in agency management software.
Stay current with industry trends and collaborate with underwriters and team members.
Skills & Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License or willingness to obtain (training provided).
Proven track record in sales with ability to meet or exceed targets.
Knowledge of personal insurance products preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Proficiency with agency management or CRM software (preferred).
Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and driven to succeed.
