Job Summary Acrisure is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team. You will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with precision and professionalism. Leveraging expertise in insurance sales and marketing, you will develop tailored solutions that maximize client value and foster long‑term relationships.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with clients and prospects

Identify new business opportunities and cross‑sell additional products and services

Consistently meet and exceed individual sales goals and revenue targets

Conduct thorough needs assessments and deliver customized insurance and total client solutions

Negotiate terms and coverage with underwriters and carriers

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the client lifecycle

Collect detailed risk and underwriting information including survey data and loss history

Develop and deliver formal proposals of insurance, including coverage details, limits, deductibles, and other pertinent information

Collaborate with the Account Manager to ensure complete company submissions and account service, including claims issues

Prepare industry‑standard ACORD applications via the Agency Management System, review loss runs, and develop narratives of the account

Secure quotes, negotiate premiums and commissions, and prepare proposals and presentations

Bind coverage, prepare binders, and delegate certificates

Provide contract review and process policy changes

Use carrier websites for rating, billing, processing changes, and loss retrieval

Meet with clients as needed or directed by client advisors

Participate in carrier/wholesaler meetings for relationship development

Serve as a technical expert, assisting insureds and department members to resolve complex issues

Qualifications

Ability to function independently and as part of a team

Competent in applying established standards with minimal supervision

Demonstrated project and team leadership, including task delegation and cross‑department coordination

Strong verbal and written communication skills with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation

High level of accounting or math skills

Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities

Attention to detail with minimal errors

Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Proficiency with technology, including MS Office

Knowledge of Agency Management Systems (Applied Epic a plus)

Compliance with continuing education requirements for agent licensing and professional designations

Commitment to ongoing industry knowledge and technology improvements

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of commercial insurance experience (or recognized equivalent) required

Active state Property and Casualty Insurance License(s); or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire

Desired advanced designations (CIC, CPCU, or other)
