We are actively interviewing for an experienced Senior Events Specialist to support the West Coast operations of a top international law firm. This high-visibility role plans and executes a wide range of external corporate and client events supporting marketing and business development efforts, from client dinners to large conferences. This position works closely with attorneys and staff across San Francisco, Palo Alto, and New York, and requires regular travel between the two California offices but enjoys a hybrid schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ yrs of event management experience in a law firm, professional services, or corporate environment; bachelor’s degree required.
Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities and multi-stakeholder events.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, event software such as Cvent, and meeting tools like Zoom.
Strong communication, organization, time management and client service skills.
Ability to work onsite in both Bay Area offices, with flexibility to attend after-hours needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the planning, execution, budgeting, and post-event evaluation of California-based events
Collaborate with lawyers, staff, and cross-functional teams to develop event strategy, timelines, mailing lists, attendee tracking, and reporting.
Oversee logistics including venue sourcing, vendor negotiation, invitations, materials, communications, on‑site coordination, and contingency planning.
Ensure all events reflect the firm’s premium brand standards and client experience goals.
