Purpose of Position: As a Kitchen & Bath Designer, you’ll play a key role in helping homeowners, contractors, and builders create personalized and functional spaces that match their vision, needs, and budget. You’ll work directly with clients, from initial design through installation, ensuring excellence in service, creativity, and execution.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and outstanding customer service at all times.

Manage projects from concept and design through to ordering and final installation.

Perform site visits to take preliminary and final measurements, ensuring design accuracy.

Develop detailed designs using 20/20 Design, AutoCAD, or similar software tools.

Provide accurate pricing, product specifications, and complete order documentation.

Educate clients on installation requirements, product care, and warranties.

Collaborate with internal teams—including sales, warehouse, and vendor support—to resolve client issues promptly and professionally.

Stay current on industry trends, new materials, and vendor products.

Use showroom displays, samples, and digital resources to assist clients in making informed choices.

Assist with receiving, unloading, and inventory of cabinetry when needed at the warehouse or job sites.

Maintain organized project files and manage multiple client projects simultaneously.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

1–2 years of experience in kitchen and bath sales or design.

Proficiency in design software such as 20/20 Design and/or AutoCAD.

Knowledge of cabinetry construction, design standards, and installation best practices.

Demonstrated ability to problem-solve throughout the project lifecycle.

Ability to connect customer needs to product solutions with confidence and creativity.

Self-starter attitude with strong follow-through.

Experience and Education

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED).

1 year of experience designing kitchens and baths.

At least 1 year of hands-on experience using 20/20 Design or AutoCAD in a professional setting.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, reach, and use steps regularly.

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are required.

Ability to work in varied environments, including showroom, warehouse, and job sites.

Must be able to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.

Visual acuity must be within normal range (with or without correction).

Working Conditions

Indoor showroom and office environments with climate control.

Occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.

May work near moving equipment or machinery.

Occasional use of small hand tools or showroom equipment.
