Job Description Samsonite is looking for a Digital Content Specialist - Wholesale who will support wholesale marketing efforts, serving as the bridge between marketing, sales and wholesale accounts. Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager - Wholesale, this role is the primary owner of wholesale PDP content quality, completeness and performance across key retail partners. You will develop best in class wholesale content, build and optimize the performance of PDP's and wholesale storefronts. You will also assist in digital shelf optimization, including asset management. You will work cross functionally with sales, brand and product marketing, creative and the direct-to-consumer division to seek solutions and streamline processes to achieve consistent and meaningful digital product storytelling. The ideal candidate has experience working for a retail brand and is enthusiastic about achieving digital excellence.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain our internal product information management (PIM) and digital asset management tools (DAM).

Build enhanced content for website product detail pages.

Accountable for content marketing initiatives across all channels to drive traffic and engagement that deliver sales and customer retention.

Brief in-store marketing material needs to the In House Agency.

Execute review campaigns for new and existing products.

Optimize product content for maximum sell-through for all channels of distribution.

Stay current on new developments and emerging technologies in the digital environment; utilize learnings to drive marketing strategy.

Assist in developing internal and external presentations.

Ensure consistency of product copy by standardizing processes.

Participate in weekly marketing initiatives and project meetings.

Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm, develop and test new ideas and share meaningful insights and recommended next steps.

Manage samples and shipments to and from photoshoots.

Report on key KPIs such as conversion, add to carts and content scorecards.

Work with sales teams to understand needs, provide support, and ensure marketing efforts align with sales goals.

Monitor trade marketing spending, process invoices, and manage vendor relationships.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, marketing, business, or related field preferred.

Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Teams.

Strong understanding and passion for the digital marketing industry.

Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation and public‑speaking skills.

Ability to troubleshoot team and vendor problems and suggest a course of action to correct.

Analytical understanding of data and methodologies used to inform decision making that drives performance.

Ability to multi‑task and meet strict deadlines.

Ability to work cross‑functionally and build relationships.

Preferred Skills and Industry experience

2+ years of experience in trade marketing / digital shelf, digital marketing or content marketing preferred.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

Experience with Salsify, Bazaarvoice, and Syndigo preferred.
