Work From Home positions available in the Boise, ID area. We are seeking a
Customer Order Specialist
to work in our Central Service Center. This position will play a key role for the Customer Order Team by driving standardization and efficiency of process. This role will provide excellent customer service and process customer orders within the Shared Services center. This position is responsible for order entry processing and will utilize policies and procedures to consistently ensure an excellent customer experience. This position troubleshoots and resolves customer complaints and disputes and is responsible for assisting with continual process improvements and cost-effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
Resolves customer inquiries by utilizing SAP and departmental resources
Develops and maintains documentation on all assigned customers/business units/locations
Researches and works across functional areas to identify and resolve order accuracy, product availability, and order timeliness
Processes standard orders received by customer or field sales (via telephone, fax, EDI, e-mail) including ensuring the invoicing of shipments in a timely and efficient manner
Processes EDI orders, resolving any errors on both the inbound order, and outbound subsequent documents
Communicates effectively with distribution facilities to ensure on-time shipment and delivery of customer orders, thus maintaining appropriate service levels
Works effectively and professionally with the customer and with internal functional areas, to include, but not limited to: Distribution, Credit, Accounts Receivable, Sales & Operations Planning
Delivers on defined operational goals and development plans, keeping Supervisor informed on progress, and ensures timely and accurate completion of work to goals
Supports RE025 SOX Audit control with weekly performance of self- and partner- order audits
Performs other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Order Management team
Qualifications
Consumer Products experience preferred
Experience working with EDI preferred
Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, AS400, A+
Experience multi-tasking and resolving problems in a professional manner
Works well in an environment with firm deadlines; results oriented
Strong customer service and communication skills
Polite and positive phone demeanor
Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Perform multiple tasks effectively; prioritize and respond with appropriate sense of urgency
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Minimum Experience & Education
3+ years of multi-product Customer Service experience and/or previous sales experience.
Experience working with large customer base and high volume of transactions
Experience working with Microsoft Office Products is necessary (Excel, Outlook)
Working Conditions
Corporate office environment or home office with frequent use of phone and PC
New Employee training is held in the office. WFH is offered after training is complete
