
Director of Operations – Multi-Site Manufacturing
We are seeking a
Director of Operations
to lead performance across multiple manufacturing sites for a manufacturer that is expanding in the US. This role is accountable for safety, quality, delivery, and cost across a multi-plant footprint and works closely with executive leadership and customers to support growth and service excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead and optimize operations across multiple manufacturing facilities
Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, scrap reduction, and on-time delivery
Establish KPIs, operating cadence, and standardized best practices across sites
Lead, develop, and align Plant Managers and site leadership teams
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance
Work directly with key customers to support service levels, capacity planning, and issue resolution
Participate in customer meetings, audits, and plant visits as needed
Support capital planning, equipment investments, and capacity expansions
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field
10+ years of progressive
manufacturing leadership experience ,
including multi-site
responsibility
Experience in packaging manufacturing including rigid packaging or flexible packaging, and/or experience with plastic extrusion, injection molding, blow molding is a plus
B2B (business-to-business) manufacturing experience required
Proven ability to drive operational improvements across multiple sites
Strong leadership, communication, and customer-facing skills
