
Requirements Specialist
This is a contingent position based upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities
Draft and perform the vetting process of new requirements, ensuring all information is provided before Sponsor approval. Coordinate and facilitate exchange meetings or forums to determine customer needs, consult with customers to clarify complex requests, and provide substantive input to design and implementation of requirements.
Facilitate and prioritize work with stakeholders, review the final technical review and validation of requirements, and ensure all necessary approvals (e.g., Security, CIC) have been obtained.
Oversee requirements tracking, ensuring all outstanding requests are monitored, communicating status, and interacting with service providers and customers to resolve concerns.
Collaborate with team members, customers, service providers, and developers to identify requirements and new implementation opportunities.
Establish and maintain relationships with customers and partners to understand and anticipate requirements.
Identify opportunities to integrate and improve resources to accomplish customer needs.
Draft concept papers, use cases, or white papers to capture future changes to the system.
Required Experience / Clearance
Active TS/SCI++ clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline plus 3 years of direct experience in requirements management for technical IT solutions projects; OR high school diploma plus 7 years of combined experience in requirements management, system/software development, IT systems administration, and cybersecurity compliance.
Experience in roles such as Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or Systems Integrator.
Experience supporting Agile development teams, including requirements management, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
Experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, verifying, and tracing requirements, and aligning them to Agile sprints for complex IT systems.
Ability to facilitate requirements discussions and stakeholder interviews, ensuring effective coordination, documentation, traceability, verification, and validation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, JIRA, and Confluence.
Desired Experience
Intelligence Community (IC) experience: 7 years supporting programs within the IC.
Experience designing and documenting information systems using DoDAF architecture models and views.
Experience supporting technical IT development teams in IC environments.
Experience contributing to or executing process improvement initiatives.
