The
Account Executive (AE)
for
Automotive Retail and Mobility
is responsible for executing sales strategies that drive profitable growth from assigned accounts and new logos. The AE proactively engages with clients consultatively to understand their business, anticipate needs, and propose innovative solutions.
The AE is responsible and accountable for the relationship health and growth in their targeted accounts. Strong, positive, and active relationships below the senior-most level are crucial for success. The AE also provides critical "voice of customer" data back to the business and diligently tracks/manages sales pipeline content.
What you'll do
Establish, maintain, and manage customer relationships at the C-suite level
Lead Equifax sales efforts for targeted accounts and new logos
Partner on building strategies to grow existing accounts and ensure year-over-year growth
Ensure effective governance and management of relationships
Act as a champion to ensure the success of partnerships
Balance day-to-day operations with a strategic focus on long-term opportunities and risks
Proactively develop new business opportunities and bring new logos to the portfolio
Lead the negotiation of new contracts with assigned partners
On behalf of target accounts, develop business cases to support solution development that include the "voice of the customer"
Represent Equifax at key customer meetings or customer-sponsored events
Work with the New Product Initiative (NPI) team to build applicable solutions
Collaborate with Equifax partners for integrated solution development
Maintain intimate knowledge of products, financials, and sales and service performance
Work closely with the broader sales team to support new business development and account-level strategy and tactics
Drive sales activity combining knowledge and expertise in data, analytics, lead generation, customer segmentation, and marketing services, including digital
Maintain an understanding of customer business, decision-making processes, and needs
Develop and execute account strategies that encompass the client's services and core opportunities for growth
Develop partner relationships for innovative opportunities that will transform Equifax's and the partners' business
Support the development and use of alliance management tools, processes, and procedures
What experience you need
Minimum 7 years of experience in a B2B sales role such as Account Manager, Solution Seller, Business Development, or related sales consulting
Deep experience with solution selling and consulting, including the proven ability to diagnose the impact of industry trends, client data, and business objectives (MBOs) and translate them into rapid sales
Automotive industry knowledge with a lean toward data solutions in the marketing space
Executive presentation and communication skills
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to travel ~20% or less

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $117,000.00 to $147,000.00. This position is also eligible for our sales incentive compensation program at approximately 55%. The application window is anticipated to close on Friday, February 6, 2026.
