The Role
The Account Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing the sales of Total Beverage Solution brands to the trade through effective territory planning, selling, merchandising and communication that produces company achievement and supplier objectives. The role requires constant interaction with the distributor's sales and promotions workforce, on-premise accounts and liquor stores. The Account Sales Manager is also responsible for acquiring market intelligence and reporting back to Management. This role will cover wine & spirits sales in New Jersey and Metro New York and will report directly to the area Region Manager. *Please note that while this position is listed as remote, our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the assigned territory to regularly visit accounts, unless otherwise stated. Essential Functions
Identifies and implements promotional programs and activities in assigned accounts Maintains a high profile in key accounts Identifies and targets on/off premise accounts for placement and sales opportunities Constantly looks for new opportunities in all segments of the marketplace Builds relationships and maintains communications with top bartenders and key off premise buyers Works and interacts with the distributor promotional personnel Manages and attends promotional events. Identifies and recommends additional, suitable promotional events that lead to a positive return on investment Completes all required documentation as required on timely basis Maintains regular and open communication at all times Tracks competitive intelligence, reports upward, applies learning to advance TBS brands where appropriate Responsible for maintaining a monthly TBS budget Understands on and off-premise retailer environment and three-tier system Demonstrates ability to develop/maintain effective working relationships and influence with distributors and key accounts Capable of digesting and delivering brand knowledge in a persuasive manner to customers Able to manage multiple priorities and brands Demonstrates numerical and analytical acumen to identify patterns, issues and opportunities Communicates effectively, including verbally, in writing and through presentations Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Power Point Master of VIP account market/account level system Characteristics

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Must have 2 or more years of alcohol beverage sales experience Able and willing to travel 50% or more and maintain a valid driver's license Must reside in Northern New Jersey or New York City for consideration Characteristics:
