We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and positive member for our successful and driven team at Prodalim to develop the DACH market. With at least 5 years’ experience in the food ingredients industry and customer base within the DACH region.
As Regional Sales Manager, you will be fully accountable for our success in the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) market. You will develop and implement a growth strategy to develop our product solutions, to maximize our market presence and profits.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategy for growth through a deep understanding of the market, our products and the customer needs. Be an expert in each market under your responsibility, including market players, main customers, legislation, trends, cultural preferences, relevant associations, etc. Be/become an expert on our products and provide guidance to customers concerning the different ingredients and develop new solutions. Manage existing customers in the area with a focus on growth. Build, develop and maintain a constructive and collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders and with our customers. Pro-actively develop sales opportunities with existing and new customers. Manage contract negotiations in close cooperation with the procurement team. Maintain and manage your project pipeline actively. Report on activities and actively use the CRM tools. Be present in the market on a regular basis. Reporting into the VP Sales EMEA, you will work in close collaboration with procurement, sales, customer service, categories and quality teams. Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the food ingredients industry (beverages, confectionery, dairy). Fluent in German and English. Creative in finding solutions, a strategic thinker who also acts and executes. With a passion for business development and revenue growth. Able to understand market dynamics. The ability to communicate with and influence decision-makers at all levels. Previous experience in consultative selling. With a go-getter attitude and an accountable personality with full ownership of responsibilities Results oriented with good negotiation skills and the ability to align short-term actions with long-term goals. A people person, with very good listening skills and with the ability to create strong relationships with customers. Flexible and open to new situations and people, enthusiastic, assertive, commercially minded, with a hunger for new learnings.
