to join our Phoenix, AZ team. At DNV, we strive to make a difference every single day. We’re committed and passionate about sustainability and are expanding our team.Our Phoenix office helps Arizona’s businesses and multifamily communities understand their energy use and utilize more clean energy. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for implementing the outreach strategies for multiple utility programs, working directly with customers/contractors to educate and engage them on the program. In addition, the role will serve as a local liaison for the utility programs, key account managers, and the market. The ideal candidate has experience working with large and key account customers in the Arizona market and has proven success performing reaching and exceeding annual goals in a sales/outreach capacity.This position is based in our LEED-certified Phoenix, AZ office.What You’ll Do Analyze assigned territory market potential, identify and track projects, and provide status reports in alignment with the program’s KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and collaboration with program leads Interact successfully and professionally with large and key account customers and contractors to present, promote and drive program participation while answering questions regarding energy-savings opportunities, program services, and offerings Actively engage with the Outreach team and other colleagues, sharing knowledge and ideas to support innovation and customer success

Support and promote relationships with key accounts and high-profile industry and solution partners to maximize energy efficiency project implementation and sustain a robust pipeline over minimum program participation goals Conduct outreach activities to promote energy efficiency opportunities through email, phone, and site visits Develop and conduct program presentations to inform customers and contractors of program offerings Produce high-level project forecasting and planning effectively by consistently building and delivering an accurate opportunity pipeline through the use of CRM Assist with developing and executing short- and long-range customer and contractor recruitment and outreach plans Lead large and key account customer/contractor meetings and assist in organizing and staffing community events, expos, workshops, and training. Attend and participate in business networking, association, and industry events Provide support for facility site walk-throughs to identify energy efficiency opportunities and/or to verify the installation of energy-efficient equipment as needed Support other sales and business development activities as required to support program strategies and goals Provide project management support and regular reporting

Position Qualifications

What is Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of experience in sustainability, sales, or business development Or associate degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field with a minimum of two years of experience in sustainability, sales, or business development Or high school diploma/GED with a minimum of three years of experience in sustainability, sales, or business development

Experience working with energy efficiency or energy-efficient products with a utility, government, non-profit, or public agency a plus Interest and knowledge in sustainability and energy efficiency desired Proven experience successfully meeting KPIs Proven track record of translating technical messages for diverse audiences Understanding of CRM and processes, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, a plus Intermediate Excel skills including, pivot tables, simple lookups, and graphing, as well as intermediate knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint Willingness and ability to travel, primarily by car, throughout the AZ service territory approximately 30% of the time Valid driver's license and reliable transportation We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening **Immigration-related employment benefits, for example, visa sponsorship, are not available for this position** How We Do It We Care, We Dare, We ShareDNV is proud to announce being named one of Houston’s best places to work in the 2022 Houston Business Journal – Best Places to Work competition.DNV is a proud equal-opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
