Description Position at Consumer Tech. The Opportunity: Ziff Davis - CNET Group is looking for an experienced, digital media ad sales Account Executive, based in the NYC market to play a key role in developing and growing accounts. As an Account Executive you will be focused on growing advertising revenue, with support from an organization that is well established and growing. The parent company Ziff Davis (Nasdaq: ZD) is a comscore top 100 property, reaching over 100+ million unique visitors each month. This isn’t just an Account Executive role we’re hiring for; we’re looking for you to take a consultative approach to guiding your clients to execute thoughtful, full-funnel campaigns that include branded content, video, display, social, events, and affiliate commerce.
Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow your portfolio and generate new revenue streams with agencies and clients direct.
Account Management: Proactively manage existing accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, timely solutions, and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
Revenue Growth: Demonstrate a proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets, showcasing YOY growth.
Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, with excellent presentation skills and able to build and maintain strong relationships through emails, meetings and entertainment.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as integrated marketing, content solutions, and operations to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and solutions.
Reporting: Regularly update sales pipeline on Salesforce, track progress, and forecast future business to management.
Qualifications
5+ years of digital media experience preferred
3+ years of direct digital sales experience preferred
Individual contributor with own book of business, working across established accounts as well as a large portfolio of prospective clients
Deep contacts and connections with media agencies and clients responsible for buying digital media
A track record showing YOY growth of your business and personal goals
You’re fast on your feet, innovative and energetic
You like to lead by example, creating strategy, selling, meeting new people and winning new business
You value internal support from dedicated resources in yield, operations and marketing to develop unique client solutions

Compensation Compensation Range: Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. Individual pay within the range is determined based on factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
