Posted Monday, January 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM JOB DETAILS: Shift 1st/Day Shift Location Onsite and In Field Schedule To be provided by leader Salary Range $75,000 - $80,000 Annually JOB SUMMARY: Create and maintain an environment that results in profitable mining wear parts and service sales. Identify and implement a business plan for wear parts sales in Empire’s territory. Increase wear parts sales in Empire’s territory. Train internal and external sales people as well as customers in wear parts features and benefits. Identify and report competitive activity and new wear parts opportunity. Report wear parts product problems to Caterpillar. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Meets stated growth objectives for sales volume, growth, and DCAL. Measures and analyzes wear parts on both Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar machines. Educates internal and external sales force and customers on mining wear parts. Develops a business plan and reports on results for wear parts sales. Conducts field follow and field tests on mining wear parts products. Identifies competitors and provides analysis on these competitors. Provides management with reporting on the wear parts business. Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and follows a call plan. Controls expenses to meet established goals. Attends sales meetings and customer events. Creates and presents information in front of an audience. Develops and maintains relationships with both internal employees and customers. Acts as a liaison between Caterpillar and Empire for wear parts sales and service issues. Works within and promotes corporate values. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to analyze data and report findings. Must have time and territory management ability. Technical skills sufficient to be able to work through product issues. Must have mechanical aptitude. Must be able to travel outside Mesa area several times a year. Ability to maintain consistent attendance. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Minimum of 2-years’ experience in a job-related field. Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
