Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Salary:

Full-time Overview:
Our client, a well-established mortgage lender in North Hollywood, is seeking an experienced residential mortgage underwriter with strong Non-QM experience to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on Non-QM, Agency, and FHA underwriting. Please note: We do not set the requirements for the role — they are determined by the client. Responsibilities:
Full file underwriting of residential loans including Non-QM, Agency, and FHA
Analyze complex income and asset documentation (Bank Statements, P&L, WVOE, DSCR, and asset-based lending)
Ensure files meet all investor and internal guidelines
Communicate with internal teams to support smooth pipeline flow
Stay current on industry guidelines and changes
Requirements:
At least 5 years of mortgage underwriting experience
Non-QM underwriting experience is required
Proficiency in Encompass LOS
Familiarity with Agency and FHA guidelines
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred:
Candidates actively working or with a recent gap of less than 6 months
Comfortable working on-site in North Hollywood
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary: $75,000–$95,000 depending on experience
Bonus potential
