Job Summary: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing customer accounts and driving revenue growth across the Midwest U.S. territory. This role focuses on promoting and selling cooling tower systems, components, accessories, and related industrial heat-rejection and process-cooling equipment. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in industrial or technical B2B sales and enjoys building long-term customer relationships, understanding complex operating environments, and delivering engineered solutions. Candidates with transferable experience from adjacent industrial markets are strongly encouraged to apply. Essential Responsibilities: Own and grow sales within the assigned Midwest U.S. territory. Develop and execute strategic account and project capture plans. Build and maintain multi-level relationships within customer organizations. Understand customer pain points, operating conditions, and technical requirements. Conduct site visits and inspections as needed; prepare technical reports and proposals. Present and promote cooling system solutions, components, and accessories. Effectively position offerings in competitive sales opportunities. Communicate with customer stakeholders at both technical and executive levels. Perform competitive analysis and support account-specific sales strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customer service teams. Develop strong working knowledge of all product lines with internal technical support. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales and margin goals. Gather customer feedback related to product performance and market needs. Track and report sales activity, forecasts, and market intelligence using CRM tools. Travel up to 50% to customer sites, industry events, and internal meetings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B industrial or technical sales. Preferred background selling mechanical systems, process equipment, heat transfer solutions, HVAC, power generation equipment, water treatment systems, or related industrial technologies. Proven success managing strategic accounts and selling complex engineered solutions. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. High technical aptitude with the ability to learn new product technologies. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. Direct cooling tower experience is beneficial but not required. Key Performance Metrics: Achievement of sales revenue and margin targets. Growth of strategic accounts and project pipeline. Successful execution of capture and account plans. Customer satisfaction and retention. Accurate and timely reporting of sales activity and forecasts. Development of strong long-term customer relationships.
