About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated Director of Sales to lead sales efforts at our select-service hotel. In this key leadership role, you’ll develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue, build client relationships, and strengthen our local market position. If you’re a goal-oriented sales professional with hotel industry experience and a passion for hospitality, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales plans to meet or exceed revenue, group, and corporate goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, government, group, and leisure markets.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, site tours, and networking events to promote the hotel and attract new clients.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Revenue Manager to align pricing, marketing, and revenue strategies.
  • Maintain accurate client data and manage leads in the hotel’s CRM and brand systems.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis for ownership and brand review.
  • Represent the hotel professionally at trade shows, community events, and brand functions.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, nurturing a culture of accountability, performance, and success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of proven sales success in a hotel environment; select-service or extended-stay experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, relationship building, and presentations.
  • Effective organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel sales systems (e.g., CI/TY, OnQ, SalesPro, STS).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel.

Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives. $60K-$80K
