Rowe Price’s Distribution & Marketing Services – Individual Investor’s Technology organization are playing a key role in helping build the future of Individual Investor's Advisory Services. The primary focus will be the development of modern, scalable solutions and is foundational for advancing T. Rowe Price’s retail advice offerings.

**Responsibilities**

In this Senior SDET role you will design, develop, modify, adapt and implement short- and long-term automated testing solutions for new and existing applications, systems, databases and applications infrastructure. You will review and interpret system requirements and business processes as well as code automated testing solutions and perform manual testing. Demonstrates strong analytical judgement, proactively clarifies requirements, and reliably delivers assigned work item**Qualifications**

**Required:**

Typically requires 5+ years of demonstrated hands-on automated software testing experience.

- Strong programming skills in Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript with solid understanding of object-oriented design principlesProficiency with modern test automation tools and frameworks such as Proven experience in testing web UI and backend services.Ability to independently write automation code from scratch, and debug, troubleshoot, and stabilize automated tests with minimal assistanceSolid database querying and data validation skills- Experience building automated tests and test scripts and deploying to public or private clouds, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or similar providers preferredExperience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile/Scrum team environment - Experience working in the financial services industry- AWS experience*Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (e.g., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant work status)*

**Work Flexibility**

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home. Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role.

Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.
