Shape the voice and influence of a global biopharma leader across the Americas. The Communication & Public Affairs Director for North America & LATAM leads the development and execution of an integrated communications and public affairs strategy across the United States, Canada (including Laval), Latin America, and the legacy Prometic business. This senior strategic role strengthens Kedrion Biopharma’s reputation, supports advocacy priorities, and drives external engagement across a complex regional landscape in partnership with global and cross‑functional teams.
What You’ll Do
Define and lead the Americas communications strategy aligned with the global corporate narrative and regional business goals
Oversee external communications across the US, Canada (Laval), Latin America, and legacy Prometic activities
Elevate Kedrion’s profile through proactive storytelling and thought leadership
Lead and coordinate public affairs initiatives across the Americas, with emphasis on the US
Support and contribute to initiatives led by PPTA, Kedrion’s key US industry trade association
Engage with policymakers, institutional stakeholders, and industry partners
Oversee media relations, including issues and crisis communications
Lead development of press releases, position pieces, op‑eds, and executive communications
Coordinate external events and industry forum participation
Serve as a senior communications partner to Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, and Advocacy teams
Support product launches and sensitive business initiatives
Advise senior leadership on reputational risks
Ensure adherence to regulatory and corporate communication standards
Manage agencies and external partners
Provide people leadership where applicable
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
12–15+ years in senior communications roles within multinational organizations
Experience managing regional or multi‑country communications
Strong US public affairs and advocacy experience
Familiarity with industry associations; PPTA experience a strong plus
Knowledge of the US pharmaceutical or biopharma landscape
Plasma‑derived therapies experience preferred
Experience supporting legacy brands or acquisitions a plus
Fluent English; Spanish and/or French a plus
