The

Vice President of Sales

directs investments in sales force effectiveness and manages functions essential to sales force productivity, including planning, reporting, quota setting, sales process optimization, sales program implementation, and sales operations. The VP is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organizations and works closely with the General Manager and Head of Sales to ensure efficient operation and success. Job Responsibilities

Designs, implements, and manages sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes. Ensures high quality, accuracy, and consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales and customer success organizations, and aligns with other planning processes (e.g., Financial forecasting) across the firm. Provides leadership to the sales organization and counsel to the Head of Sales to reflect the firm’s business goals. Equitably assigns sales force and customer success quotas and ensures the firm’s financial objectives are optimally allocated across sales channels and resources. Accountable for the timely assignment of all sales organization objectives. Partners with senior sales and customer success leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement, facilitates implementation of new programs, and fosters continuous process improvement. Responsible for optimal deployment of sales personnel. Recommends changes to sales roles, coverage models, or team configurations to maximize productivity and leads change management to support proposed changes. Works with senior sales leadership to define performance measurements and management programs, aligning reporting, training, and incentive programs with these priorities. Ensures sales reports, dashboards, and internal intelligence are provided to the sales organizations. Develops reporting tools as needed and coordinates with stakeholders to lead efficient reporting initiatives. As a thought leader, recommends and develops strategies, KPIs, and programs to enable success of sales and customer success. Accountabilities and Performance Measures

Achievement of firm sales, revenue, profit, customer retention, and strategic objectives. On-time implementation of sales and customer success quotas and performance objectives. Thorough implementation of organization-impacting initiatives. Efficient allocation of technology, support, and training resources affecting the sales and customer success organizations. Accurate and on-time reporting essential for effectiveness. Achievement of strategic objectives defined by company management. Organizational Alignment

Reports to the Head of Sales. Directs support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other related resources, coordinating with appropriate management. Fosters cooperative relationships with peer leaders and other senior executives. Influences global sales and customer success teams through best practices and Sales Operations SOPs. Qualifications

Four-year college degree from an accredited institution; MBA or equivalent preferred. Minimum five years of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business environment. Minimum five years in a sales operation, business planning, or sales support management role. Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives.
