Under the direction of the Associate A.D. of Brand Experience, the Assistant Director of Brand Experience is focused on initiatives that lead directly to the successful execution of three primary outcomes: generating revenue, increasing attendance at events, and successfully positioning/enhancing/protecting the UCF Athletics brand. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assists in the management of the overall Brand Experience unit within UCF, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Creates, implements, and executes innovative marketing strategies with a focus on the gameday experience for UCF sports as assigned. Manages game day responsibilities relative to assigned sports and areas of operation. Assists in the execution of experiential Brand Experience activations and special events throughout the year. Researches best practices and develops/implements progressive brand experience strategies towards greater engagement between the team and fan base. Assists with the development and coordination of football's game day fan experience, to include pre-game, in-game, and post game activities/assignments. Collaborates with external teams (#Content, Strategic Communications, ChargeOn Fund, Corporate Partnerships, Tickets, and Video Services) in generating greater awareness of the UCF brand and sport to enhance interest and attendance while maximizing overall revenue opportunities. Provides supervision, scheduling, training, and logistical support to student staff and contracted vendors where appropriate. This includes, but is not limited to, providing substantial input into the hiring, termination, or other changes of employment status of student support staff, as well as the identification and selection and payment of appropriate vendors related to area of assignment. Represents UCF AA, Inc. and UCF to the NCAA, Conference, other universities, Central Florida community, and the general public. Serves as liaison to various campus constituencies and serves on various campus committees as requested. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of progressive marketing experience with an emphasis on game day experience. Graphic design, strong creativity, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
