Job Purpose The
Senior Sales Coordinator
plays a critical role in driving effective commercial execution by owning key sales operations, data, and forecasting processes that support revenue growth and customer performance. This role goes beyond coordination to proactive execution - ensuring accuracy, visibility, and momentum across sales forecasting, item management, customer reporting, and cross-functional alignment.
This position serves as a trusted operational partner to Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service, helping translate strategy into action while strengthening customer relationships and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Main Responsibilities & Key Tasks
Own end-to-end item setup, maintenance, and updates across retailer portals and customer systems (e.g., mass, dollar, and retailer-specific platforms)
Manage pricing setup, validation, and approvals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer agreements
Coordinate product specifications, packaging, and artwork updates with Product, R&D, Design, and Compliance teams
Maintain clean, accurate master data and documentation to support launches, line extensions, and ongoing item updates
Proactively manage timelines and dependencies to ensure smooth commercialization execution
Support and contribute to sales forecasting activities, including forecast file management, inventory alignment, and variance analysis
Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to address inventory constraints, raw material challenges, OTIF performance, and customer service issues
Track orders, shipments, instock performance, and delivery issues, escalating risks and driving resolution
Prepare and maintain customer-facing materials for line reviews, forecasts, and business updates
Support trade deduction tracking and collaborate with Finance to reconcile claims and identify trends
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
Build, maintain, and improve Excel-based trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools to support sales visibility and decision-making
Leverage Nielsen or syndicated data to support sales analysis, performance tracking, and customer insights
Create recurring and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
Support PowerPoint deck development for customer meetings, leadership reviews, and internal planning
Operational Excellence & Process Ownership
Serve as an execution owner — identifying gaps in workflows, data, or documentation and implementing improvements
Maintain organized shared drives, documentation standards, and version control across sales materials
Coordinate product samples, customer requests, and internal deliverables with a strong sense of urgency
Act as a reliable point of contact across functions, keeping work moving and following through on commitments
Bring structure to ambiguous or imperfect processes while maintaining pace and accuracy
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field
3–6 years of experience
in CPG sales operations, sales coordination, commercialization, customer operations, or supply chain support
Strong experience working with
retailer portals, item setup, pricing, product data, and customer documentation
Hands‑on experience supporting
sales forecasting, inventory planning, and forecast file management
Experience working with
Nielsen or similar syndicated data
preferred
Advanced
Excel proficiency
(lookups, pivot tables, large datasets, trackers, and reporting)
Proficiency in
PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
for customer-facing and internal materials
Working knowledge of
SAP or similar ERP systems
Comfortable working with raw data, forecast files, and inventory constraints
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Strong ownership mindset — an executor who anticipates needs, solves problems, and drives work forward
Confident communicator who can work cross‑functionally and be customer-facing when needed
