MARKETING ASSOCIATE: PENNSYLVANIA SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL
DeSales University, in Center Valley, PA, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Catholic university, under the leadership of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales. Founded in 1965, the 550-acre suburban campus is located 50 miles north of Philadelphia and about 90 miles southwest of New York City. A total enrollment of nearly 3,500 includes undergraduate day and evening students, and graduate students. Position Summary Working alongside the Director of Marketing & Public Relations (DMPR), the Marketing Associate (MA) is a versatile creative professional who supports the DMPR with producing marketing publications, including an 80-page season program, subscription brochure, and other collateral. The MA ensures consistent branding across all channels; executes marketing campaigns across print, digital, and social media; leads program advertising sales and prospecting; coordinates social media and email marketing; and provides website updates as needed. Additionally, the MA maintains archival and digital storage of all media; and provides general office and cross-departmental support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
1–3 years of professionalor equivalent academic/internship experience inmarketing, social media, or content creation. A background in performing arts, non-profit, or cultural institutions is a strong plus.
Exceptional writing, proofreading, and a keen eye for detail.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities; thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Self-motivated and capable of working both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively across departments.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for events and community engagement.
Valid driver’s license
