Primarily Field-Based Remote with Regular Visits to Central Office
We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief or Party Chief who enjoys hands‑on field work and takes pride in precise land staking and surveying. This role is heavily field‑oriented, using advanced GPS surveying tools to support a wide range of projects across multiple terrains.
Key Responsibilities Lay out and stake well sites with accuracy and efficiency Locate, verify, and document section corners Establish new section corners as required for project boundaries Stake access roads, including slope staking for roadways and well pad locations Perform staking for pipelines, easements, and rights‑of‑way Conduct topographic surveys and cross‑section surveys for engineering and construction needs
What We’re Looking For At least
2 years of hands‑on experience
using
Trimble GPS surveying equipment Strong background in
boundary staking ,
corner staking , and
well location staking Experience in
cadastral surveying ,
oil & gas projects ,
construction staking Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining communication with the main office Valid driver’s license and an MVR that meets company standards Ability to pass pre‑employment and ongoing drug testing
