Salary Range: $85,000.00 To $100,000.00 Annually

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual for an exciting role in human resources. This HR Business Partner will lead and support our Burlington Brands Operations teams, and other teams as necessary, to engage and encourage individual development and respect for every individual. This support includes but is not limited to the following areas: recruiting, onboarding, coaching and development, engagement, retention, offboarding, worker’s compensation, and unemployment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the hourly hiring process, internal postings, referral program, recruiting external candidates, pre-screening, and interviewing within Operations and Distribution.

Assist with the salaried hiring process, internal postings, recruiting external candidates, prescreening, and interviewing.

Manage and conduct onboarding process and orientation program to ensure new associates feel welcome and prepared in their new positions across the US.

Support the operations and distribution teams in their efforts to align, enable and improve their systems.

Work on and in the Talent Management system to drive continuous improvement.

Align, enable and improve our TIDI Management System and Culture.

Coach and support leaders and associates in development activities and opportunities.

Maintain Human Resources Information System (ADP/UKG) records in a timely and accurate manner.

Maintain and prepare files, assuring accuracy, compliance with legal requirements and confidentiality.

Manage Workers Compensation program, partnering with our provider, nurse practitioner, and associate to ensure timely care, and support safety programs and processes.

Ensure compliance with legal, federal employment laws and state regulations.

Support performance management, retention and engagement efforts for our associates.

Partner with leaders to assure complete and accurate job description.

Maintain strong engagement with benefit vendors, keep vendors current on employee enrollments and changes in coverage.

Provide recruiting, headcount and turnover analysis/reports, EEOC and other required surveys for enterprise.

Manage unemployment claims and employment verifications with our 3rd party for US.

Assist with mandatory and voluntary training for associates.

Support Payroll activities as required.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field. Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHR or SHRM- CP a plus.

Qualifications List

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.

Knowledge of HR practices

Knowledge of legal, state and federal employment laws and regulations.
