As a key leader in our Staples Promotional Products Asset Protection team, you will drive safety, security, and loss prevention strategies that directly impact operational excellence and associate well-being.

What you will be doing:

Lead Asset Protection programs focused on reducing inventory loss, theft, fraud, and operational risk.

Ensure strong internal controls through audits, data analysis, training, and investigations.

Manage and develop Asset Protection Associates, including hiring, coaching, and performance oversight.

Oversee investigations, incident response, workplace violence mitigation, and critical response programs.

Drive safety initiatives aimed at reducing workers’ compensation costs and improving working conditions.

Ensure compliance with regulatory safety requirements and internal standards.

Partner with Risk Management to analyze safety trends and implement corrective action plans.

Manage physical security systems including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and C-TPAT compliance.

Collaborate cross-functionally to reduce shrink, property damage, and safety incidents.

Travel up to 15% to support field operations.

Experience leading loss prevention, safety, and fraud prevention programs.

Strong interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making abilities.

Analytical mindset with strong strategic and critical-thinking skills.

Skilled in investigations, interviewing, and data-driven problem solving.

Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships.

What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of progressive loss prevention experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

3+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) experience

Knowledge of LP certifications such as Wicklander, OSHA 10-hour, AED/CPR, LPC, LPQ

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Loss Prevention or Safety

Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments, applying loss prevention strategies and safety standards; process improvement experience a plus

Industry certifications (LPC, LPQ, OSHA, Wicklander) strongly preferred
