Review incoming digital impressions, scans, and case details to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to design.
Collaborate with Crown & Bridge technicians, production teams, and quality partners to ensure designs are production-ready and aligned with material and manufacturing requirements.
Apply strong knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and esthetics to produce functional and natural-looking restorations.
Modify and refine designs based on internal quality reviews, clinician feedback, or case-specific adjustments.
Maintain accurate documentation of designs, revisions, and approvals within the lab’s design and case management systems.
Partner with customer service and technical teams to resolve design-related questions or case issues efficiently.
Adhere to turnaround times while maintaining a high level of accuracy, consistency, and craftsmanship.
Stay current on CAD/CAM technologies, materials, and digital dentistry best practices to support continuous improvement.
Who We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience in dental CAD design, preferably within a Crown & Bridge or fixed prosthetics environment.
Proficient in dental CAD software such as 3Shape
Proficient in Exocad or similar platforms, preferred
Strong understanding of crown and bridge anatomy, occlusion, margins, and restorative materials.
Familiarity with digital workflows, including intraoral scans and model-free design processes.
Ability to interpret prescriptions and collaborate cross-functionally in a production-driven lab environment.
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and consistency.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced setting.
Adaptable, coachable, and eager to learn new techniques, materials, and technologies.
Team-oriented mindset with a passion for craftsmanship and continuous improvement.
Experience designing implant-supported crowns and bridges, preferred.
Knowledge of zirconia, lithium disilicate, and other common fixed restorative materials a plus.
Familiarity with lab management systems and digital case documentation tools, preferred.
