extremely detail-oriented, dependable, and takes full ownership of their work
— from first pattern through production-ready execution. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Patternmaker - Women's Wear located in San Francisco, CA. The Senior Patternmaker will be responsible for creating accurate patterns for women's wear collections, collaborating closely with the design team. Daily tasks will include pattern design, fitting garments to ensure proper construction and fit, and overseeing the sewing and production of samples to meet high-quality standards. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications
5–10+ years of professional patternmaking experience in women’s wear Experience with Fitting and ensuring proper garment construction and fit Expertise in Sewing techniques and garment construction Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines Excellent communication and collaborative skills Prior experience in high-end or contemporary women's wear is a plus Formal education or training in fashion design, pattern making, or a related field is preferred
