Our partner, a US-based lower middle market real estate private equity firm, is seeking an Acquisitions Associate to join its Miami office. This role offers significant hands-on exposure across the full deal lifecycle, from sourcing and underwriting through execution, within a high-conviction, needs-based investment strategy and a strong long-term career trajectory for high performers.

The platform invests both directly and alongside top-tier operating partners, leveraging deep sector-specific operating expertise across: Residential: Multifamily, student housing Commercial: Self-storage, small-bay industrial, parking The firm operates with a lean, high-calibre team across New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, offering Associates early responsibility, direct exposure to senior decision-makers, and material involvement in investment execution. This role is 100% acquisitions-focused and is ideal for candidates who enjoy sourcing, underwriting, diligence, and executing real estate transactions rather than post-acquisition asset management. Key Responsibilities
Supporting the full acquisitions lifecycle across US real estate investments Sourcing and screening new investment opportunities alongside senior investment professionals Building detailed financial models from scratch (development, value-add, and structured investments) Conducting market, asset-level, and partner due diligence Preparing investment memoranda and materials for internal investment committee discussions Assisting with transaction execution, including coordination with legal, tax, financing, and operating partners Monitoring pipeline activity and supporting strategic capital deployment decisions Your Experience
2–5 years’ experience in real estate private equity, acquisitions, investment banking (real estate), or a similarly rigorous transaction-focused role Prior real estate acquisitions or underwriting experience strongly preferred Strong financial modelling and analytical skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple live transactions simultaneously Commercial mindset with an interest in complex, opportunistic real estate strategies Willingness and ability to be based in Miami Interest in long-term growth within a real estate investment platform
