Main Responsibilities
generate and qualify leads source and develop client referrals respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, email, or in person prepare sales action plans and strategies schedule sales activity, maintain records for sales reports, and create and submit expense reports respond to leads from CRM (Sharp Spring) develop and maintain a customer database make sales calls to new and existing clients develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships identify and participate in sales events and trade shows monitor competitors, market conditions and product development travel both domestically and internationally Education and Experience
education in or understanding of chemistry and/or chemical, electrical engineering and its applications in academic and industrial setting Experience in complex sales cycles Experience in capital equipment sales Mechanical aptitude Competitive, self-starter who is both ambitious and works well in a team environment. Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
