Prepare and coordinate analyses of monthly and quarterly loss reserves
Perform complex analysis of data with minimal oversightResearch and develop new methods for loss reserving
Evaluate analytical work done by others and make informed decisions and recommendations
Provide training to Actuarial Analysts
What is Required (Qualifications)
BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related area
At least 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis on Commercial or Personal lines insurance
Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python
Strong analytical and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in actuarial analysis on Commercial Auto lines insurance
Effective computer software programming skills
Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic actuarial industry knowledge
